How EquipSignal turns public activity into an opportunity you can act on
Every opportunity passes through the same five stages before any supplier sees it.
- 1
Monitor official opportunity sources
EquipSignal monitors Find a Tender, Contracts Finder and Public Contracts Scotland, plus selected records from the developing Planning Data service. The planning source covers participating English authorities only and is not comprehensive UK coverage.
- 2
Remove irrelevant and duplicate signals
Most records are noise. Anything outside the garage-equipment sector, already covered by an existing record, or too early or too vague to act on is discarded at this stage.
- 3
Verify the site, operator, timing and source
The remaining records are checked against their original source. The site, the operator or buyer, and the expected timing are confirmed, and the source is captured with its publication and retrieval date.
- 4
Assess likely equipment and commercial relevance
Each verified site is assessed for the equipment categories it plausibly requires, the likely scale of the requirement and the practical timing of a supplier approach.
- 5
Deliver the opportunity to suitable suppliers
Approved opportunities are delivered as Lead Cards or full reports to suppliers whose territory and product range genuinely fit, with a recommended next action.
Evidence policy
Published facts, public company claims and EquipSignal analysis are clearly separated. Information that cannot be verified is marked unavailable rather than guessed.
Every opportunity record carries three distinct fields: sourced facts, EquipSignal analysis and unavailable information. This means you always know which part of an opportunity is documented, which part is our judgement, and which part is still an open question.
